Type 1 diabetes program for adolescents and their parents Type 1 diabetes program for adolescents and their parents

The Queensland Diabetes and Endocrine Centre at Mater offers an interactive group education program for teenagers with type 1 diabetes. The program—Teens Empowered to Actively Manage Type 1 (TEAM T1) is a five day course which is free of charge thanks to  funding from the Australian government under the Chronic Disease Prevention and Service Improvement fund and is available for young people aged 13-18 and their parents.
