NICS Evidence into Action Award
The MMRC would like to congratulate Trish Wilson and Vicki Flenady for winning the National Institute of Clinical Studies (NICS) ‘Evidence into Action' award. Trish and Vicki were awarded this prize for their paper ‘Implementing Best Practice Guidelines into Clinical Practice in Perinatal Loss’. The NICS prize aims to identify and reward clinicians who are applying evidence to close gaps in Australian health care settings. Trish & Vicki’s paper was identified as an excellent demonstration of the development of evidence-based models of care which address the challenges of implementing clinical guidelines into practice when caring for families when a baby dies.
